Annual dues even include insurance and other benefits. This saves a typical teacher $500 or more a year over what they would have to pay in union dues.
Any certified teacher or administrator is eligible for professional membership (full benefits).
Membership includes public, private and charter school teachers as well as retired teachers, tutors, paraprofessionals and post-secondary education students.
A certified educator, currently employed by an educational unit or entity in the teaching profession, may join as an active, voting member. $107 annual dues include professional liability insurance, legal representation and other benefits.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Retired teachers, paraprofessionals, tutors and other professionals who are certified in the education field and support the philosophy and objectives of the organization can become non-voting associate members for $15 annual dues. Does not include insurance.
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
Any college or university education student who shares the philosophy and objectives of IPE may become a non-voting member for $25 annual dues. Includes insurance.
